Not a support group that only talks about pain. A structured, peer-led program built on trauma research, designed to move survivors from surviving to leading.
85% of survivors seek help five separate times before finding support that works. Wyoming reported abuse cases rose 24% in 2024, reaching 3,500 cases. Standard crisis care caps at 60 days. Healing takes years. The Flight Path was built for the years, not the 60 days.
A survivor reports. They get a resource list. The system caps support at 60 days. They are sent home to heal alone, often without transportation, childcare, or anyone who has walked their exact road. Most give up and try again later, sometimes five separate times before something finally works.
A peer-led model where mentors have lived it themselves. Weekly connection instead of a 60-day cutoff. Goals broken into small, achievable wins instead of one overwhelming ask to “heal.” A community that does not disappear once the paperwork is filed.
The Flight Path was built using the ADDIE instructional design model by a Curriculum and Instruction graduate, then layered with six evidence-based frameworks used in trauma recovery and peer support.
Every meeting prioritizes physical and emotional safety first. Survivors move from feeling stuck to making their own choices, at their own pace.
Trauma can feel like fog. SMART goals act as a navigation tool, turning an overwhelming future into a manageable next step.
Modeled on guided peer support with built-in accountability. Mentors are survivors who have already walked the path themselves.
Understanding how trauma affects the brain helps survivors make sense of symptoms like panic or sleeplessness, and builds real coping skills.
Movement, journaling, and creative processing help release what trauma stores in the body, not just the mind.
Survivors learn to name their needs and set boundaries clearly, without fear or guilt, and build relationships rooted in mutual respect.
Structured enough to build real progress. Human enough to feel like family.
Every completed goal earns a Feather, Spark Charm, or Wing Patch. Progress is visible and celebrated out loud, every single week.
Your Allied Angel has walked this road. No clinical distance. Just someone who understands because they have lived it too.
Each month the group focuses on one Wing together through weekly lessons, while you work at the depth that is right for you within it.
A structured 9-step cycle for every goal keeps momentum going without ever feeling like homework or judgment.
Each Wing represents a different piece of the healing journey, grouped into four color-coded stages. The group works through one Wing each month together, with room to revisit or go deeper on any Wing that matters most to you.
75% of the survivors we serve live with agoraphobia or social anxiety. For one participant, it took an entire month just to feel safe enough to walk through our door. The Digital Haven closes that gap: a 24/7 mobile space to access your Flight Path, connect with your community, and reach support from anywhere, the moment you are ready.
Crisis resources and peer support in your pocket, any hour of the day.
Follow the monthly Wing focus with the group, or revisit any Wing at your own depth, online or in person.
Digital certificates and celebrations for every micro-win, right when you earn them.
Your Flight Path starts with one small step. There is no wrong place to begin.
